This is a group devoted to the Wold Newton concept first formulated by Philip Jose Farmer and expanded on by the New Wold Newton Meteorics Society.

We explore the connections between such diverse characters as Sherlock Holmes, Tarzan, Superman, Flash Gordon, Zenith the Albino, Doctor Omega/Doctor Who, Phineas Bogg, Iris Wildthyme, Doc Savage, Sun Koh, Lara Croft, Bantan, Logan James Howlett, The Phantom, El Santo, Batman, Solomon Kane, Ultraman, Wonder Woman, Tom Strong, Kara Zor-El, Sheena, Sexton Blake, Solar Pons, Nero Wolfe and many others.

We may well delve into prehistory, examining the lives of Kane, Kyrik, Tragg, Tor, Thongor, Gandalf, Aragorn, Dagar, King Kull, Elak, Ayla, Ursus, Conan, Red Sonja, Kern, Brak, Oron, Niord Wormslayer, Wi, Pag, Laleela, Hadon and Sláine Mac Roth.

Our journey may take us into the ancient world of Nimrod, Samson, Hector, Achilles, Hercules, Maciste, Jason, Phra, Ayesha and Cu Chulainn.

Or we may encounter figures of the Dark and Middle Ages such as Bran Mak Morn, Brath Mac Garen, Prester John, Tros, Sigmund, Siegfried, Brynhilda, King Arthur, Lady Pendragon, Cormac Mac Art, Beowulf, Arak, Sinbad, Robin Hood, Cadfael and the Knights who say "Ni".

We find the thrilling exploits of yesterdayear in the tales of Zorro, The Lone Ranger, Tonto, Josey Wales, The Sackett family, Django, Jacob McCandles, Kwai Chang Caine, Rooster Cogburn, Matthew Quigley, Brisco County Jr, Cord McNally and The Man With No Name.

This study may even have us reaching into the future for an appointment with Robocop, Max Rockatansky, Jeff Tracy and family of International Rescue, Steve Zodiac, Troy Tempest, Marina, Captain Scarlet, John Koenig, T’Pol, Captain Video, John Boyd, Kuba, Tom Corbett, Dig Allen, Zip David Foster, Rip Foster, Jeffrey David Sinclair, John Sheridan, James T. Kirk, Matthew Gideon, Spock, Kosh, M’Ress, Delenn, Saavik, Susan Ivanova, Galen, Benjamin Lafayette Sisko, Jean Luc Picard, Buck Rogers, Wilma Deering, Malcolm Reynolds, Inara Serra, Jamnar (Star Barbarian), Paul Atreides and Kothar.

Venturing into our Earth’s interior will lead us to Pellucidar, Zanthodon, Pharia and the extra-dimensional realm Skartaris.

Outside our Earth, but within our Solar System, we can experience the planetary swordplay of Barsoom, Amtor, Gor, Ganymede and Callisto.

We might step into the alternate realms visited by Wendy Darling, Dorothy Gale, Alice Liddell, the Pevensie siblings, the Marshall family (Land of the Lost) and Thomas Covenant. Additionally the various Universes of the Eternal Champion and the Dimensions of Richard Blade can be explored.

We can expect to run into such monsters as Godzilla, King Kong, Yongary, Bemler, Gomola, Mothra, Telesdon, King Ghidorah, Red King, Baltan, Jiraasu (Jiras), Gamera, Mighty Joe Young, Rodan, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Wolf Man, The Mummy, Gill Man, Phantom of the Opera, The Invisible Man, Predators, Xenomorphs, Terminators and the Abominable Snow-monster aka the Bumble.

Many are the places and people in our sojourn. There is no limit to this Wold Newton adventure.
