About Eric Wight:

Eric Wight (born 1974) is a professional artist, illustrator and animator. He graduated from the School of Visual Arts and currently lives in Eastern Pennsylvania. His clientele includes Warner Brothers, Walt Disney, Cartoon Network, Universal Studios, DC Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and HBO. Wight has contributed to such shows as 'Superman' and 'Batman Beyond', and was art director of the proposed 'Buffy the Vampire Slayer' animated series. His first professional comics work was published in 'Hellboy: Weird Tales' by Dark Horse. He then worked on Dark Horse's 'The Amazing Adventures of the Escapist'. Eric Wight won the 2004 Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award for his illustration work on this title. Wight is the author of the manga, My Dead Girlfriend. He illustrated the comic book adaptation of Michael Chabon's Pulitzer Prize winning novel The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. He was the recipient of the 2004 Russ Manning Award. He is perhaps best known as the "ghost artist" for television character, Seth Cohen on the former Fox TV series The OC and is the creator of Atomic County.

Allan Heinberg sold Josh Schwartz, The O.C. creator of the idea of bringing on board Eric Wight for the second season, for the subplot of the character Seth Cohen (Adam Brody) creating a comic book (Atomic County). The story of Atomic County is based in Orange County and is mainly used as a "subtle" tool for satirizing plot events. The superheros in Atomic County are drawn from the The O.C.'s main characters. The sketches and artwork used in the show, which is said to have been drawn by Seth Cohen, is in fact the work of Eric Wight. This video is based on the characters The Ironist & Little Miss Vixen's (Seth & Summer's) relationship on the second season It's the journey they went through in the season, that was created by Josh Schwartz, Allan Heinberg and Eric Wight.
