It all started innocently enough when I decided to throw a holiday get-together. I pulled out the rolodex, the contacts and the little black book to sort out a guest list. Imagine my surprise to find that the majority of my friends had moved to Los Angeles.

"Gosh," I thought, "this would be a hell of a party... if I were throwing it in LA."

After a recent successful fact-finding mission to LA, I've decided to start up the New York vs. Los Angeles pro/con list in earnest. I'm counting on YOU to add to this list by way of comments to this group.
