Bebe Rexha is an upcoming music artist whose main intent is to spread a positive outlook to young men and women all over the world. Rexha writes her own songs, and with every lyric, she’ll tell you a story! Bebe began singing at the age of four, and at just seventeen, she has accomplished a great deal already, as reflected in her active participation in countless musical-oriented events. Her FIVE-OCTAVE RANGE helps her out a bit! :) While she takes much influence from artists such as Stevie Wonder, Tori Amos, John Legend, and The Temptations, she still finds time to follow footsteps in the classical and show tune music fields as well. She has been selected to star in many school stage productions, such as "Hello, Dolly!," "Jesus Christ Superstar," and "Fiddler On The Roof." Perhaps Bebe's greatest achievement in recent months was being chosen out of over 700 entries, to be named “Best Teen Songwriter” at the National Academy of Recording Arts & Science’s annual New York “Grammy Day” event. The song was “Let Me Know,” a song Bebe collaborated on with a close musical colleague. At the event, Bebe also met with award-winning recording artist Chris Brown, who said that her music was "HOTT.” Other top industry professionals were on hand, and they all had good things to say as well. In the past year, Rexha has also won many other competitions, including "CANTARAME 2006" (Cantarame means "sing to me" in Italian), a contest in which Rexha came in third-place for performing the piece "O Mio Bambino Caro." Bebe was also selected as one of the top teen vocalists in New York State, and had the honor of performing with the New York ALL-STATE Choir! Bebe is currently hard at work preparing for her college auditions and her upcoming R&B/jazz demo. After graduating from high school she plans to study music fluently. Bebe also attends many festivals and workshops, and has been a part of the "YOUNG PEOPLE'S CHORUS of New York City." In her spare time, Bebe is most often writing music, or participating in charity events. Her mission is to spread her music all around the world, combining pleasing melodies and unforgettable vocals; she wants to deliver songs that actually mean something.
