Ian Nottingham is a character on Witchblade. He started as henchman of Irons. He fell in love with Sara Pezzini and rebelled against Kenneth Irons... He is one of the only characters who has wielded Darkness and Witchblade. He also wielded Excalibur and has saved the world a couple of times. Nottingham is a fascinating character because he has a code of honor which he lives by or dies by. The Witchblade at times will obey Nottingham but when he gets bloodlust it punishes him. He comes back for more because he truly reveres the ancient weapon known as the Witchblade. He is a mystery even up to now in the comic series. Thats why we love him.
