The Galactic Federation was founded by 10 people of diffrent races; Human, Space Pirate, Chozo, Luminoth and a varity of others. The Chozo and Luminoth went they're own separate ways, but the Space Pirates broke the Galactic Treaty of Peace and waged war with anyone who stood in their way. The Galactic Federation has Armies, Orbital Navys, Aquatic Navy, Air Force and many others. Nearly all planets other then those in Space Pirate territory, are protected by the Federation.
