MARK YOUR CALENDARS!

We suggest topics. We agree on a posting date. I randomly select one of the topics. We each blog on said topic and post on said date. Capice?


RULES

* We will be working in three week cycles. Members can offer topic ideas starting the day after blog posting for a period ending the Monday before selection (two weeks following the most recent blog posting).

*If your topic was selected for the round, you sit out next topic suggestions .

* Topics should aim to be short, pithy, snappy, and readible in varying ways. NO ellipses or fill in your own words.

* Mark your calendars, I will not be messaging reminders.

* Please do not post your blog on whatever topic on any day other then the official posting day.

* If I ask you to post a link to your blog, post a link, please. Here’s how:
First off, go to your actual profile page (click on your photo or on profile). From there, you will see a list of your blogs, click on the one you want to link to, and copy the code for that blog. Once you have that code, the link formula is this:

Where I have a parenthesis, replace it with either a forward or backward caret, as indicated by the parenthesis. Caret is this symbol < or this symbol >

If you don’t take the link from your actual profile page, the link will bounce to the reader’s own blog

* Show respect to the other group members by writing something that shows you invested some time, thought and energy to the project.

* You don’t need to be literal in your interpretation of the topic. You can post fiction, non fiction, humor, pathos, poetry (keep it lite on the poetry, I hate reading poetry), erotica, photoblogs, whatever floats your boat.

* Based on the groups comments and topic suggestions, I will remove some topics, and randomly select one of the remaining topics out of an envelope in a random drawing supervised by the Kathy.

* You must post a link to BlogPick on your blog. You do not need to link to the other individual blogs. I do request that everyone send out at least one bulletin with a link to BlogPick and the individual blogs.

* Its great if you read and comment on all the other group members blogs on the topic. That will give you a chance to see some bloggers you may not know, and to hopefully see some decent blogging with a different take on the topic.

* Please do not post threads or comments pimping non BlogPick blogs. Do not pimp contests, other sites, or anything other then BlogPick.
