Bar Golf is a drinking game where bars are known as holes and each bar has a "par" which is the number of drinks to be consumed within a certain time frame to make "par" if more drinks then you are under par.

1) The course is comprised of 9 bars or "holes" of varying complexity. This year's course will be in 5 points with a shotgun start. we will let each team know what hole they will start out on.

2) There is an established par for each hole with a score 20 being par for an individual for the course (Since we are doing team tournament the 4-some par is 80). If a hole is a par 2 then if you have 2 drinks there you score a par for the hole if you have 3 drinks there then you shot a birdie (-1) and if you only had one drink then you made a bogey (+1). For an individual a score of 25 is -5 for the tourny. For the team if team shoots a 90 they are -10 for the tourny.

3) The time allotment for each hole is 45 minutes. After 45 you head to next hole. For you "creative" golfers here is a way to pick up some extra strokes.
--- If you can convince a bartender to kiss you on the lips, you get and extra stroke (3 max for the course). This kiss must be witnessed by many people and cause you some noticeable discomfort (or excitement as the case may be.)
--- If you can solicit & receive the phone number of a drinker under the age of 19 (& prove it), you are entitled to a bonus stroke.
--- Women, if you can get a male over 40 yrs old to buy you a drink, you get a bonus stroke -- +2 bonus strokes if he is over 50. This rule is used to keep women in the running with their heavier, and liver-tested male counterparts.

3) There will be 2 bars that will be listed as "water holes" .. This means that you may piss in those 2 bars only without being penalized. If you take a piss in any non-designated water hole then its a 1 stroke penalty.

4) GREEN FEES-- We will use the bar's special for the drinks to keep tabs down. Ask bartender for the special in there so the Green Fees will not be too high.

5) CLUBS- ALL drinks count as 1 stroke -- shooters, shots, rail drinks, beer, slushy drinks, body shots, whatever.

6) COURSE DRESS- Dress up as golfers is recommended but not required (but will be fun to do). A true PBGA professional should dress like one.

7) Don't bring any real golf clubs. Picture this: You are the owner of a bar and 70 or so highly intoxicated men & women stagger into your bar waving sticks with metal heads on them. Then someone calls the SWAT team haha. Ideas to bring with you: a golf bag, a flag stick, one of those "QUIET" things the people hold up when golfer hit, golf cards will be previded.

8) How we will keep score-- I will let bartenders know what we are doing and when you start your tab or order a drink the bartenders will mark a stroke on you card for whichever player it is. We are using trust and honesty on this like a regular golf competition.. be competitive but don't be an asshole. Let's have fun, get really fucked up, and enjoy.

The 9 holes will be as follows along with the par and in some cases what is to be the main drink:

Holes 1-9 Locals is the 1st hole:

Locals ******** Par 3 (remember drinking 3 drinks is par here)
Bar None ---------Par 2 (whatever)
Sharkys ---------- Par 3 (either bourbon/coke or vodka/whatever)
Group Therepy---Par 2 (drinking 2 drinks is par here)
Pour House ------Par 2 ($2 drinks here also)
Dr. Roccos *****Par 2 (must have 2 slushy drinks for par)
Good Times ------Par 2 (whatever)
Saloon ----------Par 2 (just drink)
Delany's ----------Par 2 (beer)

********* = designated Water holes (remember only ones to piss in without having a penalty stroke)

This will be a shotgun start so if you start at Group then you head to pour house then roccos then good times then chubbys then delanys then to locals and so on...
