I believe that the only way to ensure progress in a culture in desperate need of change is to discuss our concerns, feelings and knowledge about the issues that matter to all of us.

My greatest wish is that our discussions can develop into ideas that can develop into groups of people doing ANYTHING to make a difference. Even if it only means making sure that the people you know know the facts regarding the issues/candidates/voting procedures/their rights/etc.

This group is a meeting of all minds. Disagreements are invited, as the basis of a democracy is that everyone has a say, whatever their opinion is. This being said, negative communication (ex. negative comments without disussion or basis of opinion, intimidation or threatening vocabulary, etc) at the discression of group moderator will not be tolerated. Any negative communication that does not contribute to the mission of progress that this group strives for will be deleted. If comments are continued, the member will be removed.
