We are concerned citizens of the world who believe in an increasingly connected world that for genocide to still be occuring is an atrocity for which all nations who remain silent are guilty. If genocide is occuring then action must be taken immediately to end it. Talking will not achieve this. We believe that as a police officer is justified in the use of force to protect lives that the world is also justified to do the same to protect the lives of thousands, even millions. Once intervention has occured and genocide has stopped, only then can dialogue and reconciliation really work to provide lasting peace.
