San Diego Actors Resource has been created with the intent of bringing actors/actresses (SAG/AFTRA/Non-Union), filmmakers, (student, independent and big-budget) production, headshot photographers, and other film and television resources together for an informative, fun, and non-commercial network where local artists can meet and extend themselves within the San Diego community.

The intent of the group is an alternative to the Los Angeles sites for more local work, and is meant to be for the benefit of the San Diego actor, film festival, or casting/production. Spam is strongly discouraged and will be removed, along with the offending poster.

Topics discussed here will be information such as casting calls, audition info., which agencies are "scams" and what to avoid, "How to" advice for newcomers, resource info., a forum to air questions and concerns, and even just a chance for people to introduce themselves and talk about their most recent accomplishments (everyone deserves to crow sometimes).

Any local San Diego artist is welcome (must be film related), and the group will continue to evolve based on member needs or requests.
