Leon Rippy and I acted together in 1975 at the outdoor drama, Unto These Hills. We went on to work together doing theatre in Charlotte, NC and were in the 3-D film "Chaingang." Leon went on from there to do great things in Hollywood. It couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Leon is one of the best people on earth along with being one hell of an actor. This club is to honor one of the best character-actors in Hollywood, who just happens to be my pal, LEON RIPPY.
