The purpose of the Video Activism Organization is to foster and promote awareness of video activism; defined as:

Using video for advocacy, activism and as a tool for social change.

-To support and encourage interest in video activism as a genre for productions;

-To create a vibrant community forum of media producers and consumers from diverse backgrounds with the common interest of video activism;

-To host screenings of video activism features and short films;

-To host video activism lectures, panel discussions and events.
