After watching the doctumentary "The Ground Truth" (a film about American Veterans coming home from Iraq) many young people in the Davis Community are modivated to take action. In fact, this New Years Eve at 6:00 pm we plan to light up our community park with thousands of candles. These candles represent the lives lost in service to our nation. We hope to send a message of hope to our country and to all of those suffering the effects of the war. We invite other communities to do the same. As the new generation, let us rebuild what has been destroyed, and instill peace and hope within our homes, our country, and within our world.
