This group was created for the purpose of having mature discussions on bible topics especially on SDA doctrine. Pick any topic you'd like, present any challenge you'd like, refute any challenge you'd like, but let's do it in a mature and christian manner.

All believers of all faiths are welcome into this group, not just Adventists. The group moderator does not assume responsibility for responding at all times to every challange or question, as that can be overwehlming since I can not be at the computer all the time. However, when I am not available to answer questions, there are volunteers within this group who would be happy to assist you in answering questions. We SDAs seek to encourage and teach everyone about the truths we hold dear from the scriptures, and to let the world know that Jesus Christ is the Solution to the biggest problems in our lives... sin and death.

A debate can be easily set up. In the "Bulletins" section the word "Debate" will be posted, followed by the title of the debate (Contact me to post your challenge in the bulletins section, as it is at this time disabled). The current progress of the debate will also be posted next to the debate. These include:

For debates that will begin soon. The Debaters themselves deside when this will begin. They should post the date so others can keep updated.
-Open DEBATE: sample title
For a person can post a challenge for a debate, and others can reply.
All of these DEBATE titles belong in the Bulletins Section. The actual Debates will however take place in the "Post Topics" section. Myspace wont allow to much replys in the bulletins section.
A sample of a "Open Debate" will be posted below in the bulletins section. The debates will have to take place within the "Post Topics" section. The words "DABATE" in the title of the threads in the "Post Topics" section indicates that this is a debate taking place between two parties, and
NO ONE ELSE IS ALLOWED TO POST IN THIS THREAD accept for the two debaters. If someone else posts, his post will be deleted only
ONCE. The next violation will result in a
BAN.
The person wanting to start a DEBATE (after he has posted his challenge in the bulletins section and a challenger has accepted the debate) must first post his affirmative, and then the one who accepts the challange can refute his affirmative, and the debate can continue on from there. Each opponent has up to two weeks to respond to his opponents posts, one after the other. It is also ok to decide within yourselves what your own rules will be in regards to the time it takes to respond to each other. You can also chose among yourselves how long your debate will take place and and when it will begin. Just let the admin know all the details before beginning. Please no taunting or mocking each other. Let's do this for the benefit of each other, to grow and learn together in a safe and mature environment.

For years now critics have been presenting challenges to the Seventh Day Adventist church believing we can not respond and thinking these prove we hold to false doctrines. The following are some of those most difficult and commonly asked questions. The Seventh day Adventist Church is a Christian denomination who's mission is to spread the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ through what we call the "Three Angels Messages" of Revelation 14:6-10. The words "Seventh Day" means we believe in obedience to God's Moral law of 10 commandments, which include the fourth commandment which is to keep the seventh day Sabbath holy. Our obedience to this law is not legalism, but an expression of love and appreciation by the Adventist already saved by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe a persons fruits are to show that he is a true christian, and obedience is a fruit of the spirit.
In the Sabbath commandment, these words are expressed "For in six days the Lord made the heavens, and the earth, and the sea and all that in them is..." This has reference to the creation account of Genesis 1 and 2, where we learn that God alone is the creator and Lord of all. Despite the fact that there are many so-called gods in the planet, when we keep this commandment, we are in essance saying that there is but one God only, and that we worship the one true God who created "the heavens the earth and the sea."
The word "Adventist" comes from the word "Advent" which means "coming." We believe in the coming and soon return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our message to this dieing world, includes this very word, warning all that Jesus is soon to return, and we must all make ready to meet him. Hence we are Seventh Day Adventists, Sabbath keeping Christians who believe in the soon return of our Lord.

This group now has brand new website. Besides the information found here; at the new site you will find some new arguments that we have found the critics use against Adventism. Along with responses to these, you will also find studies on various topics, along with some investigations we have done on our most famous critics. You will be suprised to learn that some of our critics commit modern day plariarism. We found this to be a bit upsetting, since some of these same critics accuse Ellen White of plagiarism.
