Damn Success! Watching people try to create a lasting writing community in Southern Oregon is like watching an amputee try and jack-off in a kiddie-pool filled with piranhas. So naturally, the prospect intrigued me. I'm a good writer. But like everyone, I could use educated criticism, peer pressure, a dash of fraternity and a shot of Chivas Regal. Whatever you have to offer; these are things I can offer as well. (Except maybe swap the Chivas for Pabst, I'm broke as a joke) ...there is so much talent floating around here, but not much focus. I want to make a group where we push ourselves further; towards where we all claim to want to go. Writing; creating... it's not about competition. It's like making babies: there's enough beauty and ugliness in the world to float a billion wet muses and they all turn out different. Maybe we can too. I just want to get something done here.
