The GSGRA was established to further the growth and enjoyment of the western life-style, in the Golden State, California. In support of our community, the GSGRA has a tradition of donating to those in need from the net proceeds of various fund-raising events and our rodeos throughout the year. To date, the Golden State Gay Rodeo Association has donated over $175,000 to charities within the great state of California.

The western community is known for their love of two step, waltz, and swing, as well as square dancing and line dancing. The GSGRA is an avid supporter of organized dance groups and those who simply enjoy kicking up their heels to good country music.

The GSGRA boasts the most exciting and the largest rodeos on the IGRA circuit. Producing rodeos at some of California’s premiere equestrian facilities and resorts, the Golden State Gay Rodeo Association has become a leader in innovative ideas and rodeo management throughout the country.
