This Universal Tribe consists of homosapiens who believe:
-That existence is comprised of YIN & YANG
-That everything within the UNIVERSE is ONE absolute whole.
-That there are no real/true absolute things within it, but rather an ABSTRACT myriad. That the Universal One (Tao) is the only absolute (and even it is abstract).
-That the UNIVERSE is the body of (The One) "GOD" (Pantheism).
-In the (abstract) universal ESSENCE that is (TAO) simply "Sameness"
-In the GREAT ULTIMATE collective/cosmic consciousness of the Universe that is "BRAHMAN"
-That the DIVINE UNIVERSAL SPIRIT and CONSCIOUSNESS (God) is found in ourselves (Atman--Brahman).
-That the foundation of the Universe is "NOTHING" (as scientists have discovered is what mostly comprises our foundation of atomic structure, (as well as the cosmic)), which is otherwise known as INFINITY (0).
-That "REALITY" and "EGO" are false and illusory (absolute mis)conceptions of the existential mind, which we must TRANSCEND.
-That physical existence is a minor prelude to Great Ultimate BEING, and that in true existence there is no birth or DEATH. Our earthly bodies are merely vessels for the Universal constituent ENERGY (chi) that is our true spirit (Atman--Brahman).
-That the true universal life is TIMELESSLY ETERNAL.
-In the TRUTH of TRUTHLESSNESS (true learning is in letting go of knowledge, true ENLIGHTENMENT--Oblivion).
-In the human MIND as a Divine TOOL made for attaining GODHEAD & Enlightenment (through the Power of Meditation).
-In SHAMANIC vision of "True Reality", either by use of the Third Eye, or through sacramental use of the EARTH's entheogenic Gifts.
-In the DIVINE intercourse of Yin and Yang.
-The PERFECTION of CHAOS (as signified by Archetypes).
And are here to UNITE with other followers of the Universal WAY for a higher purpose!
If you do not believe in these things then please do not join. But if you believe in all of these universal concepts, and wish to help form a Great Unified Tribe of people to live a Universal higher purpose and help bring about Global change then I urge you to give of yourself to this great tribal movement! If you know anyone else who shares our beliefs please invite them. Our ultimate goal is revolutionary change from the global depression the world is experiencing, so please do everything you can!
My name is Isantis (Tao). Upon being invited to the group YOU MUST INTRODUCE YOURSELF (at least to me, and a friend request is fine but a personalized message is better and I will be sending you one, so be friendly), and especially if you have a private profile (then a friend request is definately required, any foreign and private profiles I find will simply be considered unfriendly and removed). If you do not want to send anyone a personalized message of introduction or friend request you are urged to go ahead and do so simply by joining the forums and begin participating in the group (but please do not create a forum topic for the purpose of introducing yourself, just join one that is already in session). A tribe is only as unified as its most unfamiliar relation, and being this an attempt at an actual tribal movement, those who do not plan on being integral members please just dont bother joining. Members of this tribe should join in order to unify with other beings of the universal essence to help each other progress along this path together, become liberated together, transcend together, and attain enlightenment together.
As you can see the theme of this group is the Essential Universal Way. It is not for discussing absolute terms of existential human condidtions (i.e. - Right/wrong, Politics, the Economy, and most sociological themes). Members posting topics that are contradictory to the Universal nature will have their post cordially deleted, and those who appear to exist only in the absolute human way and do not accept universal truths will be deleted.
Tao ("Way")
Definitions--
Hua-Ching Ni -- The integral truth of the universe.
MSN Encarta Dictionary -- 1. ultimate reality: in Taoist philosophy,
the ultimate reality in which all things are located or happen. 2.
universal energy: in Taoist philosophy, the universal energy that
makes and maintains everything that exists. 3. relationship between
individual and universe: in Taoist philosophy, the order and wisdom of
individual life, and the way that this harmonizes with the universe as
a whole
Websters New Universal Unabridged Dictionary -- 1. (in philosophical
Taoism) that in virtue of which all things happen or exist. 2. the
rational basis of human activity or conduct. 3. a universal, regarded
as an ideal attained to a greater or lesser degree by those embodying it
American Heritage Dictionary -- The basic, eternal principle
of the universe that transcends reality and is the source of being,
non-being, and change.
Isantis (My definition) -- The Universal Essence. Ultimate principle, "truth" or "Way". The "Absolute Reality" that we all integrally exist by/of/within/as.
"Tao" Defined:
What is "The Tao"
Most simply defined?
Tao is the Universal Essence—
& The integral and ultimate principle, truth or "Way" of it—
The "Absolute Reality"
That we all exist (by/of/within/as)
(& there is nothing else)
(That you need to know)…
Existence as we know it (10,000(+) things)
Our Life Here on Earth, among the Cosmos (Tomoe 3)
Is made up of Yin & Yang (2)
Which make up "The One" (God/Universe)
Which came from
(& Is essentially the embodiment of)
Tao—
("0")
"Zero"
(The foundation & center of all "things")
"Is"
The "Number" of
"Tao"
(The Essence & Mother of all "things")
Because Zero is the equivalent of "Nothing"
The number of the measurement of substance
Found in the "Void" that essentially makes up the physical universe
As well as the symbol of the neutral mechanics of the physical universe
Also scientifically substantiating its nothingness
But 0 (Tao)
"Is"
Also a "Circle"
Like the "O" in "One"
A perfectly "Empty" Circle:
The Ouroboros that Existence is
& Representing such a symmetrical neutral rudimentary core
Of "True"/"Absolute" "Existence"
Such Absence,
Non-Being,
Nothingness
Zero represents Infinity (Everything)
(As can be only found in "0" (inexistence)—
& Only the Tao is so immensely Infinite
As "0")

TT:25
There was something formless and perfect
Before the universe was born.
It is serene. Empty.
Solitary. Unchanging.
Infinite. Eternally present.
It is the mother of the universe.
For lack of a better name,
I call it the Tao.
It flows through all things,
Inside and outside, and returns
To the origin of all things.
The Tao is great.
The universe is great.
Earth is great.
Man is great.
These are the four great powers.
Man follows the earth.
Earth follows the universe.
The universe follows the Tao.
The Tao follows only itself.
HH:46
The Tao gives birth to One.
One gives birth to Yin and Yang.
Yin and Yang give birth to all things.
Now forget this.
The complete whole is the complete whole.
So also is any part of the complet whole.
Forget this, too.
Pain and happiness are conditions of the ego.
Forget the ego.
Time and space are changing and dissolving, not fixed and real.
They can be thought of as accessories, but don't think of them.
Supermatural beings without form extend their life force throughout the universe to supoprt beings both formed and unformed.
But never mind this; the supernatural is just a part of nature, like the natural.
The subtle truth emphasizes neither and includes both.
All truth is in tai chi: to cultivate the mind, body, or spirit, simply balance the polarities.
If people understood this, world peace and univrmony would naturally arise.
But forget about understanding and harmonizing and making all things one.
The universe is already a harmonious oneness; just realize it.
If you scramble about in search of inner peace, you will lose your inner peace.
TT:32
The All-Tao hath no name.
It is That Minute Point yet the whole world dare not contend against him that hath it. Did a man, by miracle, apprehend the Tao, he would become an enlightened guru in the world.
Heaven and Earth combining under its spell, shed forth dew, extending throughout all things of its own accord, without man's interference.
Tao, in its phase of action, hath a name. Then men can comprehend it; when they do this, there is no more risk of wrong or ill-success.
As the great rivers and the oceans are to the valley streams, so is the Tao to the whole universe.
1
The "Tao" that can be "Tao'd" is not the Eternal Tao
The name that can be named is not the eternal name
The "Way" That can be Weighed is not the eternal Way
The force that can be forced is not the eternal force
The Tao-Path is not the All-Tao. The Name is not the Thing named.
Unmanifested, it is the origin of
Heaven:
__________
__________
__________
And Earth:
____ ____
____ ____
____ ____
Manifested, it is the Mother of the Myriad ("10,000" Things).
To understand this Mystery, one must be fulfilling one's will, and if one is not thus free, one will but gain a smattering of it.
The Tao is one, and the Teh but a phase thereof. The abyss of this Mystery is the Portal of Essence.
TT:4
"The Way" (Tao) is empty;
Yet when you use it, you never need fill it again.
Like an abyss! It seems to be the ancestor of the ten thousand things.
It files down sharp edges;
Unties the tangles;
Softens the glare;
And settles the dust.
Submerged! It seems perhaps to exist.
We don't know whose child it is;
It seems to have [even] preceded "The One" (God)
TT:40
Returning to itself
Is how the subtle Way of the universe exercises itself.
Being gentle and Yeilding
is how the subtle Way of the universe employs itself.
All things of the world come from the Manifest.
The Manifest comes from the unmanifest, subtle essence of the universe.
TT:38
The highest virtue is not virtuous; therefore it truly has virtue.
The lowest virtue never loses sight of its virtue; therefore it has no true virtue.
The highest virtue takes no action, yet it has no reason for acting this way;
The highest humanity takes no action, yet it has no reason for acting this way;
The highest righteousness takes action, and it has its reasons for acting this way;
The highest propriety takes action, and when no one responds to it, then it angrily rolls up its sleeves and forces people to comply.
Therefore, when the Way is lost, only then do we have virtue;
When virtue is lost, only then do we have humanity;
When humanity is lost, only then do we have righteousness;
And when righteousness is lost, only then do we have propriety.
As for propriety, it's but the thin edge of loyalty and sincerity, and the beginning of disorder.
And foreknowledge is but the flower of the Way, and the beginning of stupidity.
Therefore the Great Man
Dwells in the thick and doesn't dwell in the thin;
Dwells in the fruit and doesn’t dwell in the flower.
Therefore, he rejects that and takes this.
HH:52
The Tao buddeth forth all things under Heaven; it is the Mother of all.
Knowing the Mother, we may know her offspring. He that knoweth his Mother, and abideth in Her nature, remaineth in surety all his days.
With the mouth closed, and the Gates of Breath controlled, he remaineth at ease all his days. With the mouth open, and the Breath directed to outward affairs, he hath no surety all his days.
To perceive that Minute Point is True Vision; to maintain the Soft and Gentle is True Strength.
Employing harmoniously the Light Within so that it returneth to its Origin, one guardeth even one's body from evil, and keepeth Silence before all men.
TT:2
When everyone in the world knows the beautiful as beautiful, ugliness comes into being;
When everyone knows the good, then the not good comes to be.
The mutual production of being and nonbeing,
The mutual completion of difficult and easy,
The mutual formation of long and short,
The mutual filling of high and low,
The mutual harmony of tone and voice,
The mutual following of front and back—
These are all constants.
Therefore the Sage dwells in non-active affairs and practices the wordless teaching.
The ten thousand things arise, but he doesn’t begin them;
He acts on their behalf, but he doesn’t make them dependent;
He accomplishes his tasks, but he doesn’t dwell on them;
It is only because he doesn’t dwell on them, that they therefore do not leave him.
HH:38
Why scurry about looking for the truth?
It vibrates in every thing and every not-thing, right off the tip of your nose.
Can you be still and see it in the mountain? the pine tree? yourself?
Don't imaging that you'll discover it by accumulating more knowledge.
Knowledge creates doubt, and doubt makes you ravenous for more knowledge.
You can't get full eating this way.
The wise person dines on something more subtle:
He eats the understanding that the named was born from the unnamed, that all being flows from non-being, th at the describable world emanates from an indescribable source.
He finds this subtle truth inside his own self, and becomes completely content.
So who can be still and watch the chess game of the world?
The foolish are always making impulsive moves, but the wise know that victory and defeat are decided by something more subtle.
They see that something perfect exists before any move is made.
This subtle perfection deteriorates when artificial actions are taken, so be content not to disturb the peace.
Remain quiet.
Discoever the harmony in your own being.
Embrace it.
If you can do this, you will gain everything, and the world will become healthy again.
If you can't, you will be lost in the shadows forever.
TT:9
Fill your bowl to the brim
And it will spill.
Keep sharpening your knife
And it will blunt.
Chase after money and security
And your heart will never unclench.
Care about people's approval
And you will be their prisoner.
Do your work, then step back.
The only path to serenity.
TT:33
One who knows others is clever.
One who knows himself has insight.
One who overcomes others is forceful.
One who overcomes himself is truly strong.
One who knows he has enough is rich,
One who does not divert his mind
From the realization of integral virtue is wisely willful.
One who preserves his natural integrity will endure.
One who embraces the subtle essence dies
Yet does not perish
And thus enjoys true immortality.
TT:10
Can you coax your mind from its wandering
And keep to the original oneness?
Can you let your body become
Supple as a newborn child's?
Can you cleanse your inner vision
Uintil you see nothing but the light?
Can you love people and lead them
Without imposing your will?
Can you deal with the most vital matters
By letting events take their course?
Can you step back from your own mind
And thus understand all things?
Giving birth and nourishing,
Having without possessing,
Acting with no expectations,
Leading and not trying to control:
This is the supreme virtue.
HH:42
Nothing in the realm of thoughts or ideologies is absolute.
Lean on one for long, and it collapses.
Because of this, there is nothing more futile and frustrating than relying on the mind.
To arrive at the unshakable, you must befriend the Tao.
To do this, quiet your thinking.
Stop analyzing, dividing, making distinctions between one thing and another.
Simply see that you are at the center of the universe, and accept all things and beings
as parts of your infinite body.
When you perceive that an act done to another is done to yourself, you have understood the great truth.
TT:6
The Tao is called the Great Mother:
Empty yet inexhaustible
It gives birth to infinite worlds.
It is always present within you.
You can use it any way you want.
TT:16
Take emptiness to the limit;
Maintain tranquility in the center.
The ten thousand things—side-by-side they arise;
And by this I see their return.
Things [come forth] in great numbers;
Each one returns to its root.
This is called tranquility.
"Tranquility"—this means to return to your fate.
To return to your fate is to be constant;
To know the constant is to be wise.
Not to know the constant is to be reckless and wild;
If you're reckless and wild, your actions will lead to misfortune.
To know the constant is to be all-embracing;
To be all embracing is to be impartial;
To be impartial is to be kingly;
To be kingly is to be [like] Heaven;
To be [like] Heaven is to be [one with] the Tao;
If your [one with] the Tao, to the end of your days you'll suffer no harm.
TT:7
The Tao is infinite, eternal.
Why is it eternal?
It was never born;
Thus it can never die.
Why is it infinite?
It has no desires for itself;
Thus it is present for all beings.
The master stays behind;
That is why she is ahead.
She is detached from all things;
That is why she is one with them.
Because she has let go of herself,
She is perfectly fulfilled.
TT:14
We look at it, and see it not; though it is Omnipresent; and we name it the Root-Balance (Kundalini).
We listen for it, and hear it not, though it is Omniscient; and we name it the Silence.
We feel for it, and touch it not, though it is Omnipotent; and we name it the Concealed.
These three Virtues hath it, yet we cannot describe it as consisting of them; but, mingling them aright, we apprehend the One.
Above, it shineth not; below, it is not dark. It moveth all continuously, without Expression, returning into Naught. It is the Form of That which is beyond Form; it is the Image of the Invisible; it is Change, and Without Limit.
We confront it, and see not its Face; we pursue it, and its Back is hidden from us. Ah! but apply the Tao as in old Time to the work of the present; know it as it was known in the Beginning; follow fervently the Thread of the Tao.
TT:21
The master keeps her mind
Always at one with the Tao;
That is what gives her her radiance.
The Tao is ungraspable.
How can her mind be at one with it?
Because she doesn’t cling to ideas.
The Tao is dark and unfathomable.
How can it make her radiant?
Because she lets it.
Since before time and space were,
The Tao is.
It is beyond is and is not.
How do I know this is true?
I look inside myself and see.
TT:(28(:I))
Who knows his manhood's strength
Yet still his female feebleness maintains;
As to one channel flow the many drains,
All come to him, yea, all beneath the sky.
Thus he the constant excellence retains;--
The simple child again, free from all stains.
Who knows how white attracts,
Yet always keeps himself within black's shade,
The pattern of humility displayed,
Displayed in view of all beneath the sky;
He in the unchanging excellence arrayed,
Endless return to man's first state has made.
Who knows how glory shines,
Yet loves disgrace, nor e'er for it is pale;
Behold his presence in a spacious vale,
To which men come from all beneath the sky.
The unchanging excellence completes its tale;
The simple infant man in him we hail.
HH:(39)
...As the Universal One says:
'The subtle essence of the universe is eternal.
It is like an unfailing fountain of life
which flows forever in a vast and profound valley.
It is called the Primal Female,
the Mysterious Origin.
The operation of the opening and closing
of the Gate of Origin performs
the Mystical Intercourse of the universe.
This Mystical Intercourse brings forth all things
from the unseen sphere in the realm of the manifest.
The Mystical Intercourse of yin and yang
is the root of universal life.
The subtle, gentle movement of the interplay
between yin and yang never ceases.
Its creativity and usefulness are boundless.
