This was the Myspace group for the 2008 presidential campaign of Doug Stanhope. Since he dropped out of the race on 1 May 2007, I've renamed the group after a line from one of Doug's campaign announcements -- "Cruel and unusual politics are about to begin."

It's my intention to see this group become the Myspace equivalent of the [smith2004-discuss] Yahoo group, in that [smith2004] is (or was?) one of the baddest neighborhoods in the libertarian world.
