WHO WE ARE:


african, african-american, brazilian, puertorican, dominican, west indian...
brown, black, blue-black, chocolate, cocoa, red bone, caramel, cinnamon, yellow...
ghetto,suburban, afrocentric, eurocentric, bourgeois, militant, neo-soul, assimulated, traditional, conventional...
any way you look at it: we're all black, and we all live in South Korea.

this is an online community for black expats where we can socialize, network, support each other, give advice for others thinking of going abroad.

FORUM RULES

i hesitate to put up rules b/c i'd like everyone to feel free to express themselves in whatever way they'd like. but, here are just a couple of little things to keep in mind:

*no Adult or Pornographic posts. if there's someone you've got an eye on in the group, please send them a private message. sexually explicit material will get our group deleted.

*no trolling/flaming. dont say crazy outrageous things just to see what people are going to say. there are plenty of online forums for that; this is one for black community and support.

*if you have a problem with anyone in the group, shoot me a message and we can talk about whether or not this person ought to be banned... but it'd have to be really good reasons. just b/c we're black doesnt mean we all think alike and disagreements, debates, etc just need to be taken with a grain of salt. if you're "angry black militant" and s/he is "conservative assimulationist," well hey we're a variety of people and that's that.
