The MSCA is a non-profit organization made up of professional and amateur cartoonists, and those who aspire to be. Included with yearly dues are the quarterly South East Chapter of the NCS (National Cartoonists Association) newsletter, a spot in the Members' Gallery on the MSCA website, a chance to participate in club sponsored art shows or events, and the chance to hang out and learn from other artists. Meetings are held monthly and quarterly.

Actual MSCA member dues are $25 annually and are collected around the 5th of May each year -- National Cartoonists Day of course! But obviously you don't have to pay to join the MySpace group.

What do you get for your dues? A newsletter and all that cool stuff mentioned above. Not to mention the bragging rights to say you know some real live professional cartoonists!
