Thanks to the spread of new technologies, native people, historically marginalized, produce and transmit images, texts and sounds.
These expressions inaugurate a brand new phase of the indigenous context marked by self-representation and protagonism in the mediatic scene.
Through the constitution of a net that involves Brazilian universities (anthropologists of USP and UNESP) and different representatives of indios ethnic groups (Guarani, Kraho, Xavantes), ZOE onlus is currently bringing forth a project of collecting literary, artistic and audiovisual expressions of Brazilian natives, in a wider context of inter-cultural exchange. We look forward to read your suggestions and collaboration proposal.

Indiografie. Essays and tales written by Brazilian Natives
Published in Italy, in May 2007 (Costa & Nolan Ed.), Indiografie is a collective volume of native authors.

It is the first publishing initiative in Europe concerning the collection and publication of essays and fiction texts written by natives of different ethnic groups, as a significative mean of self-representation and expressions of their own cultural identities.
