Welcome to "The Chosen Family" groups page. We are simply a collective of people who believe in the philosophy/ideal, known as P.L.U.R. (Peace, Love, Unity & Respect) I know this might sound odd & probably make you wonder is this a cult. Trust me I've been asked that question a few times, and rest assured, we are definately not a cult. Here is a little background history to help you understand...

The Chosen Family surprisingly started as a crew name for a group of Melbourne Ravers, just at the beginning of 2007, and was founded by, Jamie (Muppet Man), Tanya (Lady-T), Chris (Stooge) and myself, Tabori (Test Tube). It was just a fun way for us to hang out @ raves and clubs, and have people simply introduce themselves because they were curious about the name and it was really just a joke to begin with! Jamie and myself, posted the crew and name on our own Myspace pages and before we knew it, we had people from not only Australia, but overseas interested and asking us if they could be apart of it. We have had people, from the US, Canada, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, the UK and even parts of Europe, show their interest in joining the crew. So to make this whole idea easier, Jamie has set up a myspace page and myself a groups page, to take some of the load off us just adding people to our own pages...

For those of you who dont know or understand where the name comes from, it actually arose from the prologue to the UK film "Human Traffic." For those of you that know the film, you would probably know this whole thing off by heart! For those who haven't seen it... GET IT, you'll love it, its not your straight out ravers flick, but it does bring everything that is essentially a wicked party weekend into one film. And also displays what true friendship means to those around you! It stars John Simms, Lorraine Pilkington, Shaun Parkes, Danny Dyer, Nicola Reynolds, Dean Davis and none other than Carl Cox himself! With music by Carl Cox, CJ Bolland, Fat Boy Slim, Armin van Helden, Orbital, Underworld and Primal Scream! Here's the prologue....
