A meeting place where musically inclined peoples can connect for the purpose of creating music. All genres welcome.

Just a quick explanation, but I'd like this to spread and be a rather populous group. If you search for myspace groups in the midwest area for the purpose of meeting other musicians, you'll find that there are like 3 groups with maybe 80 members combined...

What I need you guys to do is go through your friends list and invite any of your friends that you know of that play musical instruments, write, or are musically inclined in general, and ask them to do the same.

The specific purpose of this group is to network and meet peoples in the surrounding areas. While the scope of the content should be focused on this we can get off topic and discuss music that we listen to, or suggest bands and post upcoming events, but lets try to remain true to the vision of this goal and meet some people!
