The Twilight Realm is an ancient name for the land of Faerie. It harks back to the belief that there is no sun, moon or stars there, but only an unending dusk. The inhabitants of that eternal gloaming have many names, and innumerable shapes, sizes and abilities. Some are benevolent to humanity, some malevolent, and some are merely mischievous. All are forces of nature: wild, untamable and sometimes fierce. They have been feared, revered, summoned and warded against for eons of human existence. What is the true nature of the Fae? We have only the hints in songs and folklore of various cultures, the testimony of those who claim to have contacted them, and our intuited impressions of the forces around us.
