With a tremendous amount of the worlds flora and fauna located in Central and South America, extra attention should be paid to this area. There are plenty of species of special concern, as well as so many environmental indicators (ie, amphibians, fishes, predators). So to make a long description short, we will be discussing environmental issues, conservation issues, new ways to conserve the animals and land in this area. We hope to come up with some new novel ways to breakthru with feasible conservation efforts, so please comment away....
