My father was a Oakland Ca police officer.He was killed in the line of duty,when I was only six month's old.I never knew him.I grew up feeling like I was the only one who had lost a father in the line of duty.I had no support.This is a group for other's like me,who have lost a loved one in the line of duty.To share thought's,memories,storie's,meet other surviving children.I know because of the sacrifice my father made,I grew up without him.I never got to hold his hand.He never got to hold his grandchildren.I missed so much growing up without him.This group is dedicated in the memory of My Father, ROBERT WILLIAM BLAN,of the Oakland California Police Department.End Of Watch May23,1973
