Art of the Song, explores inspiration and creativity through songwriting and other art forms. The Creativity Catcher is one of many ways that we are working toward our mission: to inspire our listeners to find and express their unique creative voices, and to connect and grow the worldwide community of creative people. The Creativity Catcher is an on-line community of Art of the Song listeners and other receptive and respectful cultural creatives who wish to share their work and support others in the creative process. The Creativity Catcher has been formed to uphold and foster the positive impact of creative expression and not to pass judgment about each other's work. As a member of the Creativity Catcher please remember that respect is at the heart of this group. In the Creativity Catcher we welcome creativity in all forms, not limited to particular artistic mediums or styles. We invite musicians, business people, writers, mechanics, visual artists, cyclists, jewelers etc. to share their work (be it an mp3 file, an image or text posting). To share works with fellow group members you can post images in the gallery of performances, art works etc.; you can post bulletins of written works; or post bulletins alerting the group of your new song (mp3 file) uploaded to your myspace profile. Perhaps you'll get feedback; perhaps a dialogue will spring up; perhaps collaborations will be born. In the beginning we will be feeling our way to get the ball rolling. Suggestions and ideas are welcome and appreciated. The sky is the limit.
