this is a group for vegans who are opposed to soy consumption for health, ethics or any other reason. this group also stands to critique ourselves as vegans for being part of a consumer driven movement based on "ethics" understanding that there is nothing ethical about consumerism. soy is too often is the staple of vegan diets and it is promoted as a cure all, when in reality it holds serious health risks and is extremely detrimental to our planet being the leading cause of deforestation of the amazon. educate ourselves and each other making veganism what it should be a diet of health, compassion, liberation, and sustainability.
