We originally started this group for users of our business classifieds website, but later changed the focus to try and bring more awareness and discussion about Missing Persons, cold cases, and other people who need help. We donate a portion of the proceeds from our website to charities several times a year. To learn more about who we are and why we do this, please visit our profile and read our blog.

This group is intended for several types of people: anyone interested in the 50StatesClassifieds.com website or in classified advertising in general, people who have a Missing Persons case to post, cold cases, charities of all kinds, law enforcement, nice people, and anyone else who is interested in helping. We especially welcome other businesses who are socially conscious, and we would love to network with other businesses who also donate portions of their proceeds to charities.

All are welcome here, but SPAMMERS will be blocked. I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT CREATE POSTS THAT DO NOT RELATE TO MISSING PERSONS - for those who keep putting up ads for things for sale, who apparently didn't bother to read about why this group is here, this is NOT THE PLACE TO SELL STUFF. If you are just selling something, then go to www.50statesclassifieds.com and purchase a basic classified ad - it's only $4.95 for up to 365 days with a color photo, and a portion of the proceeds are donated to charities several times a year.

If you have a missing persons case or charity to discuss, please feel free to post a topic or a bulletin. Include pictures of your missing persons in the posts. You can also register for a user account at www.50statesclassifieds.com and then contact me there - I will give you credits to post free ads for your cause.
