Since 1993, the cackling ladies of the Sewing Circle have been coming together (in San Francisco) at the new moon. Yes, we actually sew! And we knit. We also gossip, teach, learn, spank, drink tea, stage performances, write erotica and support each other's dreams in countless ways. Stitch by stitch, this community grows and transforms into a crazy quilt that wraps the world in love. And strikes a wild ambivalence into the hearts of men!

Many of our ladies live away from the Bay Area now, and I hope that this Tribe will catalyze a movement toward gatherings in Portland, NYC, LA, and beyond, so that the affiliated Circles can spread our sparkles over this entire land. We can mend the rend!
