Reproductive freedom lies at the heart of the promise of all human equality, self-respect, self-determination and dignity that is embodied in both the State and Federal Constitution. We echo such sentiments made by organizations like Amnesty International when they wrote that they: “… firmly [stand] by the rights of women and girls to be free from threat, force or coercion as they exercise their sexual and reproductive rights.”

Michigan Voters for Reproductive Freedom recognizes that by electing Pro-Choice public officials we will be assuring throughout the state legal representation for everyone as well as setting legal standards to safe-guard everyone's reproductive freedom.

MVRF recognizes that the power of the vote does not immediately change the reality of many people’s lives in Michigan; however, when integrated with other strategies, the actions we take today will be a catalyst for fundamental social change for all people in the years to come.
