RUCKTION RECORDS is a London based DIY Hardcore label.
One of the founders of the label is
Pelbu who has Peruvian Inca roots.
Our brown brother also sings in the classic hardcore band called Knuckledust.
It formed out of the ashes of Blackup Records who released the first Knuckledust
tracks on a split 7" with Manchester-based 'youth crew' band Area Effect (RIP).
Their primary objective is releasing their friends music so they can make a name for themselves,
get some gigs and have some fun promoting UKHC.
Initially they concentrated on London as nobody else wanted to touch these bands despite them playing regularly in
and around the capital maintaining their own solid base of dedicated fans.
However, due to their solid friendships with bands from outside of London such as DIVIDE, BLADES OF UNITY and SIX FT DITCH,
it seemed a natural progression for them to offically make them part of the Rucktion family and to release their music.

2006 is looking good with Rucktion now running a regular monthly spot at The 12Bar Club in London.
On the FIRST Saturday of each month starting in January, you can catch Rucktion bands alongside some
of the UK's finest hardcore/punk/metalcore bands.
