this group is for like minded people who actually do more than just talk about creating change. let's actually pool our resources, develop a think tank and use our status as artists (and non-artists) to try and right the wrongs of the world we live in.
(compilation albums, concerts, fund raisers etc...)

the goal is for members to start their own chapters in the city in which they live, to address the issues that immediately affect them. to make networking and communication easier. build with your neighbors (local artists) to strengthen your home base eventually leading to a global community all working toward building a better world.

to avoid confusion with other groups it is recommended that all new groups use the AFSC- abbreviation , your url should look like this AFSC (YOUR CITY)

i know there's a lot of smart people out there, that want to make a difference, joining AFSC and getting involved is a good start.

AIDS, GLOBAL WARMING, HOMELESSNESS, GENOCIDE, ILLITERACY, RACISM, the list continues...let's put our thinking caps on and do something about it. maybe you know somebody with a venue, or a radio host or whatever let's build!
we encourage new ideas and suggestions.
