My name is Therese M. Leger. I'm 20 years and was born and raised in Omaha, NE. I have been making beaded jewelry since I was 10 years old. It started out as just a hobby along with painting, guitar, writing and a few other arts here and there. But the one hobby which I keep regaining interest in is making jewelry. Now it is my art. Like an artist who mixes colors on a palette I too mix different colors, textures, and patterns always creating something exciting, exotic or unique.

My favorite creations include sterling silver, precious gems, stones, shells, glass, crystal, or pretty much anything that appeals to the eye.

Inspiration: People inspire me. Custom pieces are my favorite because I can base my designs on who a person is and what inspires them. You tell me what you're looking for and I'll do my best to make it happen.

Sometimes what we wear can tell the stories of our lives without having to say anything.

Jewelry catches our attention the ways people do. You notice the initial beauty. But by chance you take a deeper look at someone and see the detail and intricate beauty that makes up that person...

My vision is to see beauty in all things, especially people. Jewelry doesn't define who we are, but it does say something about whom we are.

Why not mass produce jewelry?
To answer that question with another question I'd say who would want a Picasso painting if they new he made 500 duplicates of the same one? NOT ME!

We are totally unique, no one can replace or copy us. We all know that even twins have different fingerprints. How strange isn't it?

I'd like to think the same way about jewelry. I want to give you something beautiful you can call your own. When you're wearing Oceanfishe Jewelry you know that you're the only one wearing that particular piece.

We might be similar but we have many differences from one person to the next...
