Group Leader:

Welcome! Kick your shoes off, get a free drink from the bar, grab a beanbag and relax to some awesome tunes, a bit of idle banter or a passionate debate if you prefer...

This group is a place to discover and talk about new music, meet new people and discuss thoughts and ideas about promoting independent music.
Whether you’re a musician, a music hobbyist or a music lover, you’re absolutely welcome here.

We wish to use this group to help promote great new independent music through the technology of Reverbnation. Every fortnight or so, we will be posting the tune widget of deserving bands on the group’s front page for all to listen to and give feedback on. Anyone can have their music featured - the only criteria are that you have a Reverbnation profile so that we can use your tune widget, you or someone else think your music has something special about it, and that your music is recorded and produced to a reasonable standard. With the incredible advances in home recording equipment in the last few years, it is absolutely possible to get a clean professional recording in a humble bedroom studio. If you’re new to recording and producing and would like some tips, we encourage you to start a thread in the group forum, where you are bound to get loads of great advice.

We will be welcoming recommendations of bands to feature - whether it’s yourself or someone else. Just drop us a message giving us the URL of the Reverbnation profile and providing it meets the above basic requirements, we’ll make sure it gets featured.

We highly recommend these sites:
