The Primary Purpose of Unity Corps is:


to promote oneness amongst humanity






The specific purpose of this nonprofit mission is to seek out those individuals and groups who support the aims of ethnic (racial), religious/spiritual, and sexual non-discrimination, and to provide for the peaceful promotion of human unity via the arts, assemblage, literature, media, and other means of goodwill.


Unity Corps, Inc. is a nonprofit organization operating exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Initially formed in 1992 as an unincorporated association of artists and concerned citizens to be an immediate reaction against the extreme U.S. domestic violence and ethnic group prejudices unleashed during the Los Angeles riots of that period; the organization formally incorporated in late 1998 to its present day status of nonprofit public benefit corporation.

Subsequently, the efforts of this organization have gradually expanded to include research on methods for the promotion of peace and unity throughout society and rehabilitative services delivered primarily through usage of the arts. Involvements with both traditional mainstream media and other evolving forms of mass communication are also an emphasis of major consideration for this cause.
