We are part of the Arkansas Society of Freethinkers Coalition. We are a group of Freethinkers that enjoy the company of others of like mind. Freethinkers form opinions about religion on the basis of reason independently of tradition, authority, or established belief and include Atheists, Agnostics, Deists, Rationalists, Humanists and many others.<br> Our gatherings are a great place to exchange information, ideas and life experiences.<br> Our goals are: <br> To unite as many Freethinkers in the Central Arkansas area as possible. To enrich the community by hosting and developing informative activities and events and by encouraging and facilitating dialogue in matters of science, reason, ethics, and tolerance. <br> To inform people of their First Amendment freedoms of and from religion, and to monitor and promote the awareness of local separation of church and state issues. <br> To maintain a friendly, healthy relationship with other organizations, and with the community. <br> Everyone is encouraged to actively participate in the meetings and activities of the group and help maintain an atmosphere free of hate and anger. There is no official membership. Everyone is free and welcome to attend meetings and/or activities as long as they are Atheist friendly and do not come to preach or proseltize.
