This is group for the discussion of Scuba diving in southeast michigan and Northwest Ohio. On of the most popular places in the area for local scuba diving is White Star Quarry.

White Star Park in Sandusky County, Ohio is an 800 acre parcel located in Gibsonburg, Ohio . On the park property, White Star Quarry is a 15 acre lake set up for swimmers and scuba divers. With fantastic visibility, and an average depth of 45’, this quarry offers incredible underwater beauty and scenery. Underwater, the intrepid explorer can find, sunken boats, quarry artifacts, forests and fish. The Stone Crusher of the quarry was subterranean and offers the diver an 80’ dive that is a very unique experience. There are a number of training platforms for practicing your diving skills and a scuba concession open weekends.
