It's getting to be that time of year again people...Coachella Time!!! This group is designated to converse, prepare and organize for Coachella 2008! As you all may know, my father, Tom and I, do a grand scale Coachella Campsite for the festival every year.

Last year our campsite was mentioned in a Los Angeles Times article about the festival. The article included information about our use of solar energy as a power source for our stereo, onsite lighting, cell phone chargers, mp3 players, misting system, etc. It also mentioned our decor composed of a Harajuku theme including plyboard panels of anime characters, multi colored umbrellas, japanese lanterns, colorful lighting, etc.

For Coachella 2008 (Friday, April 25-Sunday, April 28) our camp theme is Survivor: Coachella. Package prices will be $450 per person this consists of 3-day pass to the festival, camping pass, food, beverage(not including costs on-site of festival grounds), camping equipment, etc. Considering that Coachella can get quite pricey, this price is actually rather reasonable. The only profit that is made from all of this is enough to cover costs(fingers crossed) and to make our campsite bigger and better for the following year. Last year our opening meal was sushi followed by a beautiful fruit tart. As you can imagine, we don't skimp on anything. Any dietary requests will be accommodated.

Due to losing money on the entire event last year, we are requiring a $200 deposit due by the 25th of January. We will also be putting together a regular group email for further communication.
