Under the overcast skies of Portland Oregon, Mike and Michelle answered and ad for a band. They helped form a band called Witness The Decline and put out a self titled album.
They moved to Denver because the job market was better and Jeff was from Denver. They changed their name to Born In Winter because winter is the time that everything seems to flow the best for them. They rereleased the Witness The Decline album under their new name with the title Gone.
They started work on their new album with the title Prolonging the Agony. They released an ep with six songs that was to be on the full length album. Later they released the full length album.
They recorded and released a 3 song demo. They added Izzy on guitar and began work on their next release Waiting in the Dark, which is available on iTunes, Cd Baby, and Indie Rock Cd’s.
They have 5 new songs and hope to have and ep out by July 1st with a tour to follow.
Born In Winter is a hard rock band with gothic and metal influences and has similarities to bands such as Lacuna Coil and Evanescence. As of yet they are currently unsigned to a
