Queens Pride House
(QPH) is a center for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community in the Borough of Queens. Our goals are to create a safe space for our LGBT members. QPH offers social services and health services referrals targeted towards the LGBT community.

We also have a “free-lending” library holding about 1500 books and a media center with materials about/or of interest to the LGBT communities. QPH has a monthly series of political and radical workshops called ‘stay ALERT!. Also, QPH sponsors social and cultural events and activities for all ages, ethnicity, genders, and religions. And all services and events are free.


Our Drop-in Center and Health Info.Hotline
Our Drop-In Center and Health Information Hotline provides health and social services referrals to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) community in Queens. The requested information is provided via-telephone, via-Internet and in-person, and is confidential and free. Our goal is to provide information about services and service providers that are sensitive to our needs as LGBT persons. In promoting the accessibility gay-friendly services providers, QPH aims to empower the Queens LGBT community in such a way that people who contact the program are better able to take care of themselves, their families, and their friends. The program also endeavors to improve the health and social services available to LGBT persons in Queens through the training and education of service providers.
