Mitt Romney in 2007 created a new law and plan for health care in Massachusetts. This law says that if by 2008 you do not have health care that you will be fined a certain amount of money. This law has is positive aspects such as no one in the state being uninsured and unable to receive treatment. There is also a very negative side, there are not enough funds available for poor individuals and families. At the end of 2007 Mitt Romney bailed out on our state to pursue his "Dreams" leaving Massachusetts with a health care plan so unreformed and all non well offs man and womans nightmare.
As of late I have been unemployed from my construction job. Ive had personal health insurance for the last four months coming out of my pocket from my unemployment checks. I will not be going back to work for one more month, also my unemployment ran out last week. I can no longer afford my health insurance even though I am looking for a new job. I learned that since I made to much money in the past that I am not eligible for Mass Health. I also learned that for every month that I am uninsured that I will be fined 300 or so dollars.
