Why Anti-RECAB exsists:

A recent age ban has been placed on Clearview Mall prohibiting anyone 16 years of age or younger to be allowed in Clearview Mall after 4 PM without an adult (21 or older) present with them. This only happens on Fridays and Saturdays. A recent group, by the name Rise Against Clearview Age Ban (RACAB) has been created to try to convince Clearview to remove the ban. Not everyone is for the ban, but, however, there are people like us who are for the ban. We are here to let Clearview know that they have support and we will act based on what RACAB's actions are. We are also open for debate upon the matter, all views will be respected so long as they are said in an appropriate manner (ei: no vulgarity, insults, ect..)

This group is in support of the age ban for the following reasons:

1) Clearview mall gets extremely crowded on Fridays and Saturdays because kids are out of school. As a means of clearing up the mall, this is a good solution. Most of the time all the kids do is loiter and shoplift. There is no real purpose of them being there and they get in the way of people who actually have a purpose of being there. In more recent cases they have caused fights in the mall and this is a hazard to other people as well as a danger to the kids themselves.

2) The ban is on the mall only, most of the time kids go to see a movie anyway, so if they want to see a movie, they should buy the tickets before 4 PM, get a parent to do it, or buy them online. Then all they have to do is use the top entrance to AMC during that time.

3) Clearview Mall's security will be able to keep Clearview Mall more secure if there are less people in the mall. This age ban will make Clearview Mall a safer place to be. There has also been a lot of vandalism done to the mall (such as grafiti, walls being punched in, things flushed down the toilet) and it is making it an unattractive place to go.

All and all, this ban will not only benefit the mall itself but the customers who go to Clearview. The mall will be more secure. The people who wish to cause trouble are going to rebel against this ban in an obscene and/or violent matter. Are these the kind of people you want around your friends and kids? If not, then please support the ban. Join this group and support the cause of keeping Clearview Mall a more enjoyable place.
