Who: Coalition for the Environment and Earth Day (CEED)

What: Community event: Earth Day 2008---This is a community wide event for the purpose of enjoying the wonders of the earth and its people. One of the main purposes is to educate the community in how to care for the physical and social environment where we all live and play together

Where: Antelope Park, Lincoln, NE. Earth Day 2008 activities will be centered around the Auld Recreational Center,1650 Memorial Drive, which is the larger white building in the park.

When: Sunday April 20, 2008, 11:00 a.m. exhibitor’s set-up, 12 noon – 4:00 p.m. community Earth Day festival, 4:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. clean up. As always, leave a public area cleaner than you found it.

Cost: Earth Day 2008 is happening through the efforts of a coalition of organizations. Facility rental and publicity costs must be met through donations. Although we do not wish to limit participation based on ability to donate, we do request those able to do so to enclose a contribution. Suggested levels of support: $10_____ $25_____ $50_____

Please note: No collection of money without a permit from the City of Lincoln. Details on money matters to follow after registration is submitted. Please ask the Coalition for the Environment and Earth Day 2008 if you have further questions about money and insurance issues.

(See address above.) The purpose of providing any of this information is purely to facilitate communicating with you and will not be used for any other purpose . Where would you like to be located in the festival? Among your options are:
• Children’s activities area
• Band shell (for amplified music groups)
• Inside on stage in Auld Center (acoustical music groups would be appropriate - There will be tables of exhibitors inside the Auld Center and conversations would be difficult with louder amplified music groups)
• Inside Auld – space limited to first 30 respondents – 6 and 8 foot tables, 36 inch round tables
• Grass areas near the Auld Center--These areas will require you to bring your own tables and chairs and also consider providing your own tent in case of inclement weather.

Be sure to provide information on your specific requirements, such as, electricity, kitchen, separate building or space. Lincoln Parks and Recreation provides several different rentable spaces close to the Auld Recreation Center in Antelope Park, such as covered picnic areas with tables. Please contact the Coalition for the Environment and Earth Day 2008 with the information provided at the top of this registration form if you have questions about other rentable spaces. Also indicate the type of exhibit you will be setting up so that we can locate you in an appropriate place in the festival. Thanks.
