 Welcome to the Dan Bialek Fan Group
Dan Bialek is a independent comedian that is touring America sharing his views about everything from bullies to hoax bulletins on myspace. He is funny, down to earth, and says all the things that most people wouldn’t. This group is a place where we can all talk about how much we love Dan and his work.
Misson Statement:
To bring people, of all walks of life, together and show that they enjoy Dan Bialek’s comedy. We have to show Myspace.com that Dan is wanted.
So Who Is Dan Bialek?
Dan has been a standup comedian in Los Angeles for the past five years and have performed in and/or hosted over 1,500 shows in that time. He has written for the National Lampoon, ESPN and NBC. He just finished hosting two weekly web series for NBC’s Dotcomedy.com.
A few months ago "out of boredom" he started making short video blogs in his computer room. People seemed to like the vlogs. Eventually they caught on and received millions of hits on Myspace and YouTube. A few of his more popular ones are Worst Toilet Paper Ever, I’ll Fight A Blind Girl With A Knife In The Shower and Bookshelves For Jesus.
While pursuing a career as a comedian he has also held, quit and been fired from dozens of random "low-paying and oftentimes soul-draining" jobs. A few of them include: elementary summer school teacher, substitute high school teacher in South Central Los Angeles, reporter and city editor for a small weekly newspaper in Hermosa Beach, security guard at the Warner Brothers movie lot, stock room clerk at Abercrombie & Fitch (blaring techno music for $8 an hour), book store cashier, E3 trade show emcee and product demonstrator, focus group participant (He got kicked out for talking too much), limosuine driver (He got fired after the first night), doorman and cover booth cashier at the World Famous Comedy Store in Hollywood, plus many, many more.
What is Dan Doing now?
Currently Dan is touring America preforming his "Dan Vs America" tour in his Honda Civic. Not only is he having fun, but he is getting in fist fights with his best friend, making fun of PETA representives, and hanging out drinking with his fans. On top of allllll of this excitement he is still finding the time to get on myspace and all of his other fan pages to correspond with his fans. Hopefully this site will make Dan’s life a little easier. You can post a topic and every one can reply there and Dan can read them all at once. Now, Dan is a great guy, and he will most likely still reply to all of your messages but lets try to give the guy a little bit of a break!!! LOL!

My name is Dan Bialek. I am a comedian from Los Angeles currently undertaking a national independent standup comedy tour that is quickly driving me to the brink of physical, financial and spiritual ruin. But, I wouldn’t have it any other way and I love traveling around the country doing shows.
I have done numerous things that have incurred the wrath of the powers that be at Myspace.com and they have repeatedly deleted my accounts. Usually on the 2nd or 3rd day of long legs of my tour. It’s inconvenient, but that’s just how it is.
Myspace is a huge company that is owned by an even huger company. There are no rights or freedoms of speech on their site because it’s not a free and open public forum but rather a private entity designed to bring about advertising revenue.
So, it is Myspace.com’s absolute right to keep deleting my pages if they don’t agree with what I say whether I’ve done something to violate their Terms Of Service or not.
That’s just the way it. Boo hoo.
That being said, I’m not going to let their proclivity for erasing my cyber existence stop me from promoting myself and my comedy and communicating with my friends and fans using their website.
Myspace has gone and made themselves the conduit by which a large portion of internet-saavy young people in this country communicate. Even if a lot of people complain and say that their website sucks, all of us still use it.
So, I’m back. And as soon as they delete this page I’ll be back again.

Thank you Nick from Fort Campbell, Kentucky!!!! This is in NO way a "haters" comment towards the fan pages. We all love Dan’s work and want to support him in anyway we can.....

I think your at a good point right now. Currently there are 3 profiles used to support Dan, not to mention 3 Dan Bialek/Tour/DIB profiles, you don’t want to get too carried away and take the actual attention away from Dan himself. His fan page has more friends than he does...and it also puts out so many bulletins a day, I just don’t bother looking at them. I think this currently serves as a great tool, for Dan himself to post topics, and get our feeback simultaneously rather than 70 people email him all at once...or email him, his fan site, his "supporter" website, and this fan group. Which would in turn leave him with approx. 15 emails. Great Idea! Much more useful than a myspace based fansite! :)
