Steam and Diesel trains are a great way to travel to your destination and if you get the priviledge to ride one, it is a great experience since you get to see the the world through a window of a train. Some of my favorite trains in Texas are the Texas State Railroad that runs from Palestine to Rusk, The Trinity Railway Express that runs from downtown Dallas to downtown Ft. Worth and the Tarantula that runs from Grapevine to the Ft. Worth stockyards. There are many others that are great too that I have not had a chance to visit or travel on.
