Welcome!
Hi! Thanks for coming by Edmouse’s Time4Learning Group. This group is for parents looking for advice, curriculum, and friends of similar interests. Basically let’s talk about our kids. Everyone is invited to join and we hope that you do!
The primary focus of this group is to keep in touch with homeschooling families and those families that wish to offer extra enrichment to their children’s daily learning.
Who are we?

If you are new to Time4Learning please try our Sample Lessons. If you are new to Homeschooling or might be thinking about making the switch check out our Homeschooling Resource Guide . This guide was put together by some of our parents and gives advice on how to set up your homeschooling day and insight into choosing and using your curriculum. It also offers advice about state requirements. You can always visit our Parent Forum for additional questions and guidance about Homeschooling.
Language Arts
Our Language Arts Lessons offer a broad view in such areas like Phonics and Fluency, Grammar and Conventions, Reading Comprehension Strategies, Vocabulary, and Writing. Learning to read is an exciting time for children and their families. While thrilled by their children’s emerging literacy and reading skills, many parents are surprised to learn that reading is not automatic and that, regardless of family background, children require support in learning to read and developing strong reading skills. Most adults forget that acquiring reading skills require skilled instruction. We have charted these reading skills in Reading Skills Pyramid .
Math
An online math curriculum should teach much more than the "how to" of simple arithmetic. A good math curriculum should have kids learn math concepts and skills with a proven math curriculum that provides a comprehensive scope and sequence. Time4Learning’s math curriculum covers more than just arithmetic, math facts, and operations. Our interactive math program teaches Number Sense and Operations, Algebra, Geometry and Spatial Sense, Measurement and Data Analysis and Probability. Elementary math curriculums that cover just one or two of these five math strands are narrow and lead to a weak understanding of math. Help your child build a strong, broad math foundation. Lesson Plans and Printable Worksheets
For planning purposes, we provided online the Scope and Sequence for our entire curriculum from Preschool to Eighth Grade. Our online curriculum even offers printable worksheets and teacher materials for ideas on extending your daily lessons. Signup for Time4Learning and gain access to a variety of educational materials, which will engage and challenge your child to succeed. Make Time4Learning a part of your children’s homeschool resources.
