The Appeal is a group composed of U.S. service members directed predominately by service members. We are soldiers, sailors, marines, airmen and cost guardsmen, active duty, reserve, National Guard and Individual Ready Reserve.

We work to address the grievances of service members and provide a protected means for service members to contact the Congressional representative about these grievances. We are calling for an immediate end to the war in Iraq.

The wording of the Appeal for Redress is patriotic and respectful in tone.

"As a patriotic American proud to serve the nation in uniform, I respectfully urge my political leaders in Congress to support the prompt withdrawal of all American military forces and bases from Iraq . Staying in Iraq will not work and is not worth the price. It is time for U.S. troops to come home."
