The idea of PEACEfest has just been more fully realized by myself after the ideas and suggestions of our friends helped me to see that instead of just one concert held on one day called PEACEfest, why not really do what we should be doing and build a network of peaceful celebrations all around the world, after all we are a network of peace and freedom activists from around the globe that grows faster everyday. This is just the beginning of something big and i feel the next step in the revolution, i will remind everybody if its something they haven’t realized but our organization is completely about YOU and more specifially the part of YOU that you share with all of US, Life on Planet Earth, lets work together and really realize what a global celebration of peace, love, and brotherhood/sisterhood looks like... I proposed the celebrations start on September 11, 2008 with an event in New York to kick it off, which i will be working to put together with your help, and then continue until the Autumnal Equinox September 22, where there is a Peace and Freedom festival already being planned in Chicago...
WE NEED YOU now to step up and start promoting PEACEfest, because together we can make it happen in every major city around the world by 2009 and turn september 11-22 into permanent holidays, 11 days of unity! I will help as much as i can with organizing other peacefests around the world but i am going to leave it to YOU, our friends, to make it happen. theWUN is yours to do as you please, use the name to promote PEACEfest in your city and together as a network we will petetion our favorite artists to play in the name of peace, and when we all work together to get them to commit to playing we can distribute them among the cities that have PEACEfest’s planned...Also, with all of our Friend’s bands we’ve got tons of talent lining up daily for PEACEfests everywhere. Working together it will work, the only thing that is really limiting us right now is the actual amount of people that we have involved, we really need MORE people just to make this happen, and i’m sure as soon as we start getting stuff organized and coming together you all will want to put PEACEfest or theWUN in your top friends, but the real truth of the matter is that we need that help NOW, to even make PEACEfest happen. Make sense? i hope so, and you’ll see too by the time of PEACEfest2008 what "the World Unification Network" (.org) is supposed to be, until then, we could use your ideas and opinions in our forums to help us imagine, discuss, and design what that might look like. I encourage you to start getting together with people in your city to discuss ideas about PEACEfest, feel free to use our group’s forums for just that, and/or i’d love to start sending some bulletins to help people meet each other by region, look out for some regional PEACEfest pages soon

Letter to (good) Mainstream Music
To Whom it May Concern (AKA the Band),
Greetings, I hope this finds you well. My name is David Christopher Byers and i am writing you on behalf of the World Unification Network (http://www.worldunificationnetwork.org) the page i created as a platform for peaceful revolution, and we need your help. The ideal behind the idea is to unite as many people as possible via the internet and to utilize the infinite networking possibilities therein to create a more perfect system to distribute the power on our planet, by building the worlds first pure democracy online, and could be the means to replacing our country’s broken system. Now that i’ve introduced to you the ideals of peace freedom and equality which myself and theWUN represent, I must ask for your assistance to help bring our message to the masses, and in all honesty, if you are receiving this letter from me, your music and ideals have already been vital in shaping my own personal beliefs, I’ve always said that the music in our page’s mp3 player explains what we’re trying to do better then i ever could do writing about it. Music is peace, love, and unity; everything essentially, so just keep doing what you’re doing but help us now actually make something happen, this is the time in history when it needs to happen, and i hope that you are already with us on that. This brings me to my point and one of some urgency as I’ve recently committed myself towards organizing a global celebration of unprecedented proportions starting with a massive festival (think original Woodstock) somewhere near NYC on September 11, 2008 and continuing as daily events occurring all around the world until the Autumnal Equinox September 22. We’re calling the idea simply PEACEfest2008 and hope to kick off a long lasting tradition of celebrating life on earth and placing a higher value on love and brotherhood then on wars and violence, 11 days in September for the people of Earth to get together and celebrate the things we all share, and turning a blind eye to our differences... I’m writing expressly for a commitment from your group or as artists individually to come together with the rest of us and participate in this peaceful celebration. Events are starting to come together by region and I am encouraging people to get together now and start organizing events, some of them already had events that they are now just associating with theWUN and calling PEACEfest. I was writing hoping to get a commitment to perform and/or speak at either the main event in New York, any one of the other events currently unannounced, or if you’re already on tour, why not just call your tour PEACEfest2008 for those 11 days? You know as well as i do that if we all work together to make this happen, it will happen. With your commitment to act in the name of peace, unity, and freedom and by joining us as the people of earth in celebration of our humanity, our planet, and the things we all share you are acting for one of the best causes our planet has ever seen, we are counting on your support and leadership to help us bring the power back to the people, by spreading the ideals of a peaceful revolution whatever that may mean to you. So many of you have been doing it all along, so let’s get together and actually DO SOMETHING!
